K.C. has started a new weekend recap meme to well… you know… recap your weekend. Seems like although busy, our weekends are pretty uneventful. I’ll try to dig out something worth writing .

Friday evening we stayed home. I fixed quesadillas, swam after dinner while Matt & Bailey worked with Pinky.

Saturday morning we slept in until almost 9:00 a.m. Woo Hoo!!! We gave our dog Lady a bath which was quite a chore and then bleached out the dogs little pool. We went for another swim to cool off and then I cleaned house while Matt and the kids worked outside. It was too hot to work long out there though! Me & Emelia went to get a birthday present for my niece Katie’s birthday party and we went to Mom’s. She fixed ham, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, bread, and cake. It was pretty yummy. We got Katie a singing HM pen and a notebook, some rings and bracelets, a movie and some movie candy. She liked it all!

It was hard waking up Sunday morning for some reason! But, we had classes to teach and church to attend so we got up and out on time! Class went well and church was good too! After church we picked up a calzone for lunch and came home and took a long nap! I heart naps! We had to be back to church an hour early for a meeting. They are having a teen event later this week kinda like VBS, but for older kids. I’m helping with crafts. Again. We had church and then came home to get ready for another week.

That’s my weekend. Don’t say I didn’t warn you about it being a little boring. I did! But, it’s my life and I love it.
