I can’t bear the sound of_________. Static on the radio. Matt listens to different talk radio stuff at night and when there is static it drives me nuts, but now that he is listening to XM radio this problem has been fixed.

What is your favorite fairy tale? Probably the princess and the pea. It’s kind of a joke around here that I’m obviously not a princess because I have sat on remotes and such and not known on many occasions…. I’m easily distracted what can I say?

If you could be guaranteed a spot on the reality show “Survivor”, would you go? NO. I would not go under any circumstances. I would, however, send Matt :o)! I don’t like fruit or fish. It would just not work for me.

Meanest thing you ever did to a sibling??? I know what kind of question is this Hmmm… I am the youngest and only girl… My brothers are 6 and 10 years older than me. I can remember the usual silly pranks, but overall I can’t remember anything flat out mean except maybe telling mom or dad something I shouldn’t have. I’m sure given the opportunity they could think of something really horrible I have done. I am sorry now if that helps?

Which is worse? Being gossiped about or being lied to? being gossiped about for sure… not that I enjoy being lied to or anything, but it seems the lesser of two evils.

Name an embarrassing moment (Make it good). When amanda was in about 2nd or 3rd grade, she had been up all night (we had been up all night) because there was a bug floating around the family… I slept in not expecting her to go to school being sick. When I got up around 9 am there was no Amanda. I had to call the school to ask if she was there. She had gotten herself up, gotten ready, and even packed her little lunchbox all by herself. Her determination was strong even when she was young and I guess it shouldn’t surprise me that she is top in her class…. but it was embarrassing as a mother to call school to see if her daughter was there. (and not sound very scared!

Favorite season and why? I love Fall & Spring best! I love watching the leaves change from green to orange and then from brown back to green. So pretty!

How many times have you moved in your life? Let’s see… from Arkansas to Oklahoma when I was 7 days old, from Anderson Road to MWC at 3, from MWC to Choctaw at 7, got married… back to MWC, then back to Choctaw, then to a different house… then here!

Think Evangelism…I assume that most of my readers are Christians… I post a lot about my walk with Christ and it seems most people that comment encourage me in my journey. Saying all of that, what kind of witness (telling others about Christ, spreading the gospel) are you? This question is not meant one bit to make anyone feel guilty…so choose not to answer this one if you do not wish too. I am just wondering what how others feel when it comes to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the World….
I think I am probably living Christianity more than talking about it. I try to voice my beliefs too and hope that I am a light for Christ.

Question 1
What is the name of your very first friend? Alicia Patterson. We met as babies in the nursery at church and were friends for years. We wore matching homemade dresses to church without planning it (I guess our moms shopped the same fabric store). I don’t see her much now. It’s actually been a few years, but when I did she was much the same as when we were little girls.

Question 2
Do you believe in love at first sight? No. Not really. I think I fell for matt the moment we met, but love… I think that takes longer.

Clean Freak or Total Slob? Like the host of this meme, I am both… I like things to be perfect to the point that I don’t let anyone else do anything because they can’t do it to suit me and then when I am too busy things are left undone. I have to say I have worked on this lately and made some progress.

Last book you read? I’ve been reading through the bible, the last book I read was Psalms. I am also reading a book called “unleashing your faith.” I got mom the newest Jan Karon book for Christmas and can’t wait until she finishes so I get to read it!

Question 1 In the spirit of Christmas… Artificial or Real Christmas Tree? Both… I have bought real trees many years and the past two years we have used a fake. I love the real trees, but we put it up usually right after thanksgiving so by Christmas it is very dry! Can you say “fire hazard”…

What makes you cry?
Silly things like school programs and saying the pledge of allegiance. Not so silly things like watching someone give their heart to God… seeing my kids sad or in pain… funerals… seeing others cry… sappy commercials.

2. Coke or Pepsi (Diet counts)? I ♥ coke! I grew up drinking pepsi, but have made the switch. (sonic ice is necessary too)

4. Spiritually speaking, do you have a Quiet Time? If so, where, when, and how long have you had one? If not, what is stopping you from having a Quiet time? (Quiet time is defined as time alone with God. It can consist of praying, reading God’s word, and worship among many other things) I do have quiet time. I fall asleep praying and when I wake up I talk to God… when I am driving I talk to God… when I’m in the shower I talk to God. I grab every little minute of quiet to spend time with Him. I read my bible usually before getting out of bed. Sometimes I have to wait until the kids (minus Izzy) get to school. I also spend time in the car listening to teachings and worship music.
