  • Although I DID do my morning walk/run… I almost took the shorter path as in actually turned on the y towards the shorter path and made myself go back to the long path.  UGH.  Mondays.
  • I made a big batch of tuna salad Saturday night and beans with cornbread Sunday (as requested by Matt)… tonight’s menu:  tuna and beans.  YUCK.  Oddly enough matt was thrilled.
  • Mom made a volcano cake which has like a bazillion calories for my SIL’s bday party last night.  After work I was STARVING and stopped by mom’s house for a big piece of cake and I ate it all.  For lunch.  And I liked it.
  • My closet is a mess.  I need to tackle it so bad.
  • I have no energy today.
  • Clutter is bugging me right now but because I have no energy today it’s not bugging me enough to do something about it.
  • I read so many blogs on bloglines and rarely comment, just not enough time… so I feel like I know what everyone is up to but am cheating by not clicking on them.  Is that wrong?
  • Gail has beat the pants off me playing Lexulous (like scrabble) on Facebook.  Ugh.  So has Sue come to think of it.  What’s the deal? I always beat my phone.
  • I have joined the FB ranks of playing farmtown and find it odd to spend actual time clicking on the screen to plant and harvest fake crops.  It’s insanity and everyone is doing it.  What’s the deal?
  • I have four spill plans and cads and topos that have to be done no later than Thursday and I have no interest in starting them. I want to find a good sale.
  • The class I teach sunday mornings (teen girls) is learning about giving and gratitude.  I spent an hour yesterday sharing stories and scriptures about the evils of grumbling and complaining and yet while reviewing this list it seems to be a lot of those things.  I gave them papers to fill out sharing 10 things each day they are thankful for.  (last week they were directed to do a random act of kindness).  I’ve yet to fill out my sheet for today so I’ll do it now.

thankful list:

1.  I’m thankful for the delicious chocolate cake I had for lunch.

2.  I’m thankful for my strong legs that allow me to walk and run at the park daily.

3.  I’m thankful for so many blog friends.

4.  I’m thankful for the fun games on FB

5.  I’m thankful for the challenge put forth by my friends Gail and Sue.

6.  I’m thankful for my closet, and the clothes that need to be organized.

7.  I’m thankful for my mom who diligently helps daily with izzy’s therapy.

8.  I’m thankful for my job and the flexibility it provides.

9.  I’m thankful for leftovers.

10.  I’m thankful for air conditioning.

Any confessions or thanks to share?

I find it so hard to walk on Monday mornings.

I made a death by chocolate trifle type thing for a special dinner I made last night for Kyle and his friends–I had a HUGE spoonful today and ENJOYED EVERY BITE ; )

Some days I find it so hard to comment on blogs–just not enough time. So, no, I don’t think that makes you a bad person–at least I hope not. Love your thankful list.

I have become addicted to farm town too! *sigh*, but not as much as my addiction to yoville! And with these addictions, I don’t read as many blogs right now.. darn FB!

I’m sorry about the fb lexulous games, I thought you won the last one though? I started playing some on there at mindjolt and then I play bejeweled blitz so I can NOT add farmtown or anything else!
I noticed in the last couple of days my closet needs cleaning bad but I’m not as motivated as you!
