2 things.
one.
First a huge thank you to LeeAnn! I ran across her when she was making beanbags for another blogger (A Daily Scoop)… and talked to her (via email) about ordering a beanbag for Iz. She asked about color and size, looked at Izzy’s blog to see her… and then we agreed when she got to it she would let me know how much for the beanbag and shipping. So… yesterday I walked out to put things in the car for the day (pause…)
Saturday I was leaving the house with my hands full and pushing izzy’s stroller. I got to the front door and was trying to manuever all the stuff and her and her chair started rolling down the sidewalk. I took off and realized my hoodie sweatshirt was caught on the storm door handle and I couldn’t move. I accessed the situation in about .2 seconds and forfeited the shirt. I ran anyway ripping the shirt apart. I caught her before she went maybe 5 feet, but it scared me. That’s why I am making multiple trips to the car and not trying to take it all in one swoop. I’m also using the brakes on the stroller!
(resume…) There was this ginormous, seriously huge box on the front porch I could barely carry in. Guess what it was? It was from LeeAnn. It was the beanbag! She sent it without telling me. I emailed her immediately and excitedly asking her how much to send because i know the shipping had to be outrageous for this huge box all the way from Nevada. Guess what she said? “It’s my gift to Izzy and you.” Is that not the sweetest thing ever? I thought so! I’m working on a care package to send her as a thank you! For all the bad things you hear about people and the world I am amazed at all the kind and generous good people!
Here’s a little pic that I sent to LeeAnn of Izzy resting on her beanbag.

As you can see in the picture, Princess the dog thinks that this is her place to rest too. She likes to snuggle up with Izzy so they are two peas in a pod on the beanbag. The only problem so far is that Emelia loves the beanbag too!
two.
I went with my mother to Cracker Barrel yesterday to look at some pretty new collection of bird cannisters and teapots. She wanted to redo hers since she has had a kitchen remodel… We shared baked chicken and dressing with green beans (cause we’re dieting ya’ll). It was yummy and nice to sit by the fireplace. I heart that place. Anyway, they had such cute Valentine stuff. I got these salt & pepper shakers…

Aren’t they sweet?

Awww, how sweet to get the beanbag! Looks like it’ll be used lots.
Ok, I officially live in the middle of nowhere, close to nothing! You’re killing me with these places you have to eat, Cracker Barrel (love it) Cheesecake Factory and your list goes on and on! Ummm, I have like mcdonalds (never go there), and lots of small town fast food places but I guess Sonic is ok!

The love and caring of fellow bloggers, at least in our Godly circles, is so beautiful and wonderful. I wish you’d have linked to LeeAnn so I could meet her. Thanks for posting the picture of Izzy and the bean bag.
The salt & peppers are sweet.

I’m so glad you get to enjoy doing things with your Mom. This is the official year that I have lived half of my life without my Mom. I sure wish she was still here and hadn’t died of cancer many years ago.
Love the beanbag, the new pup, the bird salt & pepper shakers, and people that do things for you as a surprise. That is great!

That is the nicest thing that LeeAnn did! What a wonderful person she must be. I love her and I’ve never even met and/or heard of her before!
Love the salt and pepper shakers, too. Me thinks I need to head over to Cracker Barrel tomorrow myself. lol

What a sweet gift for Izzy and what a wonderfully special person LeAnn is! She looks pretty comfy with her beanbag and puppy! You know I have never been in a Pottery Barn, but–whenever I see their stuff I always love it. That salt and pepper is adorable–very homey looking. Lucky you.
