What is one thing you will commit to do in 2009 that will draw you closer to Jesus? (This is not a New Year’s Resolution)

I am committing to do a couple of things in 2009 to draw closer to Jesus.  The first is to put reading my bible much higher on my priority list.  Like at the first spot.  I am sad to say it has fallen down the list over the last year and that is not a good thing! 

I would also like to commit to trusting Him in all things.  Everyday.

I always look forward to the beginning of a new year, and the new possiblilities that the new year holds.

    Nothing makes us grow more than daily bible reading. It amazes me how year, after year, the Lord will speak to me with a verse I’d just read over and barely noticed before. As we are ready, the word unfolds for us. Like constantly finding hidden treasure :o )

    Thanks for stopping by my blog and yes I believe it is normal to be emotional in decisions but like you I wish I would go to God and trust him first in all decisions

    I am with you on the moving that Bible reading thing up to the top of the list! Why-oh-why is it so hard? It’s not like it is unpleasant or something. I wish you much success in achieving this goal in 2009!

    I’m working on reading the entire Old Testament,,,something I’ve not done before. I’m only in Exodus right now! :)
