fave 5
Time for refection on this week’s favorites…
1. Hanna Andersson clothes for Izzy! They are so soft and comfy and wash so well! I heart them. Gram Paula just ordered a few more new outfits for Izzy’s Christmas! Ssshh don’t tell!

2. Cell Phones… and coke? but not together! I dropped my phone into my drink yesterday on my way to take Iz to school. It buzzed loudly for the first few hours (I took the battery out)… and then finally started working although I still can’t use the buttons for texting or calling. Goodnews/badnews: eligible for upgrade 11/20.
3. Antibiotics & after hour clinics!
I took Emelia to the doctor last night. She has strep throat and infection in both ears. She’s home today taking her medicine and resting.
4. Cheese & Crackers!
It’s a meal, it’s a snack, it’s a cheese cracker.

5. Amazon dot com! I’m already getting my Christmas shopping started and I really do love shopping online!

Really, you dropped your phone into your drink? Bummer. If you leave it alone for awhile, and let all the contacts dry out, it might be usable again. At least until you can upgrade. :v)
Hoping Emelia is feeling fine soon. I’m thankful for antibiotics too.

You know, there’s something about seeing that ticker (until Christmas) that is a little bit scary. Except that I’ve started my Christmas shopping, too! (and yay for Amazon
)
I’m with you on #4. I love cheese and crakers!

I think when my daughter dropped her phone in the pool this summer, they told her to take the battery out and dry it in a pan of rice I think she told me! She’s hoping to get a new one this month……..what kind of new one are you getting when you upgrade?
I heart online shopping! And need to do stuff for Christmas but no one has told me what they want yet……that counter you have, scary to me because I’ve done nothing!
Christmas shopping! Ugh! Yeah, I guess I gotta get it done. Sorry to hear about the phone…and who needs antibiotics? I do hope that everone is ok. My prayers are with you.

great list.. and your right those cell phones don’t mix to well with coke. my mom did that one day when we were out and about.. she thought the cup in the cup holder in the van was empty and thought that would be a good place to sit her phone while we were driving.. and she just dropped it right on in there
I hope Emelia is feeling better.. I fear I’m going to have to make a trip to the doctor for myself.. I have been sick for just over a week and while my fever is gone I don’t seem to be getting any better and I have no voice and my throat is killing me.. UGH UGH UGH.. I have no time for this..

Ah! We’ve dropped chocolate milk on the keyboard once. yuk! I hope your mobile works again. I’ve got one that links to the net and although it was quite problematic at the beginning because it’s atouchscreen and we are not of the very careful kind, I finally find it very useful, especially now that we don’t have a phone , not yet, at least.
Sending Get Well Soon wishes to Emelia. Winter throats…Here we had our first rain…in November. Temps c.19C, but we had up to 30C up to now. Terribly exhausting. Where has the Autumn gone?
Wishing you a very pleasant weekend.

Cell phone in the coke? Yikes! I spilled hot chocolate on my laptop. It still works but a couple of the keys stick occasionally. I’ve always said, ‘Drugs are good.’ Aren’t you thankful we live in the time AFTER penicillin was developed?

First of all, I am so sorry hear about Em. What a miserable thing to be sick with–I know from experience! Somehow all of us but Kerry has avoided the crud going around up here, knock on wood. I really thought I was coming down with it the other day.
Second of all, your Christmas ticker on your blog is giving me a stroke!
How can it be this close? Better yet, how are we going to pay for it?
Hope Em is better and that she keeps from spreading her germs to anyone else in the family.
Is Izzy still fussing about her AFO’s?
*Smiles*
