  1.  No bake cookies!  I made a double batch Wednesday. They are so easy and so good.  I think they are probably health food with all that oatmeal in them… and jenna also reminded me what a good source of protein the peanut butter is!

    * 1 3/4 cups white sugar
    * 1/2 cup milk
    * 1/2 cup butter
    * 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
    * 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
    * 3 cups oats (I use the old fashioned 5 minute oats)
    * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa. Bring to a boil, and cook for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in peanut butter, oats, and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool until hardened.
  2. Fall weather!  This may make the top five until winter shows up!
  3. Johnson’s baby bath and baby oil.  I love using my spongie thing to lather up with the baby bath and then put the oil on while I’m still wet in the shower.  Makes my skin feel and smell great!
  4. Yankee candles!  I’m burning fresh linen now which smells nice and clean… soon I’ll start burning all the great fall smelling candles!
  5. My keys!  I lost them so long ago I can’t even remember.  Maybe a year.  Had duplicates made of our house and my car… Last Friday I got an email from CVS headquarters saying they had found my keys and I needed to call and identify them.  I called the 800 no. and couldn’t remember what my keychain was at the time.  I stumbled around until I convinced them they were mine and then they told me they would be mailing them to me from Rhode Island!  They sent them from Choctaw to RI and now back to my mailbox yesterday.  The keychain was from Canada, a souvenier Amanda brought me that has my name on it as well as my blockbuster, cvs, and albertsons key fob things.  I am so glad they are back where they belong!  I just wonder where they’ve been hanging out for the last year!

Those are some of my favorite cookies. It’s one of the few things that my mom taught me how to cook, so I have fond memories of them. My husband loves those cookies too, so I need to make them again sometime soon 🙂 Thanks for the reminder!

Cool about your keys! Wonder where they’ve been hiding out for so long, but i know you’ll be glad to have it all back home 🙂

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

The same thing as Stacy said, I think it’s one of the first things our mom taught us to make! My kids always liked them too……..maybe sorta healthy, except for the white sugar!
I love yankee candles! It will be time for a new one soon after I burn this one E gave me.
Alas, our fall teaser came and went this week, but the cooler temps will be back sometime.

I have got to go make those cookies right now! You might have started something posting those! :vD

Fall is my absolute fave time and it just might be making my list continually, too! I’ve got pumpking bread candles on my list this week and my house smells so “fallish”. I’ll have to check out what Yankee candles has for fall scents.
