I have this cowboy stew in the crockpot already this morning! It’s going to be a busy day. Izzy has Bear at 11… and I have to give her a bath and get us both dressed and ready to go! I am hoping to make it back and feed her in time to get her to school.
I want to try Sheryl’s recipe she posted yesterday. It sounds yummy and if anyone doesn’t want to eat it they can eat leftover stew!
I have one more package of brats in the freezer (bought in bulk at Sams) so we’ll grill those Wed. night. I am wanting sourkraut with them… no one else will join me for that treat, but I love it with hot dogs! There will be pasta leftover from the night before to have on the side… and pretzels.
Thursday I’m making a batch of plain old spaghetti to be served with salad and garlic bread. It’s always good, and always well recieved and eaten up!
Friday we’ll do carryout, maybe gyros for a treat for Matt.
IT was a long tiring weekend and it’s going to be a really hectic week.
I’ve got a busy week ahead of us too. We have the grandkids staying with us all week because dad had to make a business trip out of state. The Friday we have to also squeeze in another trip to OKC and the VA. I’m praying for you and yours. Pray for us.

I’m struggling with that “my nest keeps getting emptier” type of cooking this week. Both boys are working tonight and tomorrow night so they won’t be home for supper. Randey doesn’t like to eat out, I don’t particularly want to eat out tonight either so now I’m trying to figure out what to make us for dinner that’s quick and easy. I really wish I wasn’t so lazy after I go buy groceries…if I wasn’t, I’d seperate those packs of chicken out into 2 breast portions for nights just like this.
