Susanne started this meme a couple of weeks ago and every week I plan to join in but don’t get it done… Fridays are usually really busy days!  Turns out my busiest day this week was yesterday.

So here are five favorites this week…

  1. Playing scramble on Facebook with Gail!  She is tough! 
  2. This post at Big Mama cracked me up!
  3. I’m enjoying the Fall teaser we’ve had this week… so much so I have been sprinkling Fall decor all over the house!  Maybe a little early?  Oh well!
  4. The last of the Stranger series watched at church Wednesday night.  This one was so good!
  5. Favorite (and almost worst) moment of the week was last night, I had worked so hard all day on a big batch of CADs that needed to be emailed before I could go to bed… I clicked over to check something to help Matt with something he was studying for his test Saturday and the laptop locked up.  I had just almost finished the last CAD of the batch and it was a ridiculously huge one that had taken well over an hour!  I restarted the computer and opened the program and it had auto saved!  WOO HOO!  I could have cried with joy, and would have cried with sadness had I lost it and had to start again!

    #5 definitely would have made my favorites list too! Although with my techno luck it probably would have made my cry list! LOL.

    I’ve never seen that series, I’ll check for it at the Christian bookstore. And I’m itching, positively itching to get my fall stuff out. I 3> fall! Thanks for playing Annie. I really enjoyed your favorites for the week!

    Have you heard the joke about the computer competition God “held” between Jesus and Satan? God gave them both all these computer tasks to do and at the end walked by and unplugged both of their computers. Satan had a hissy fit over his lost work, but Jesus remained calm and just smiled, knowing He had won the competition.
    When Satan saw how Jesus was handling the situation he angrily asked God, “How can He be so calm about this???”
    God smiled and replied, “Jesus saves!”

    Gotta love the auto save - and the Savior!!!

    I like the long hair on you…

    Also, I loved the Stranger series too. I saw them on TV. If you didn’t know this already…the shows you watched were based on the movies that came out first…
    The Perfect Stranger, and Another Perfect Stranger (the same man that plays the role of Jesus in the TV series plays Jesus in the movies)… If you need more info…ask me :)

    Whew on your computer and it saving! It’s a pain to lose stuff.
    And OH, thank you on our scramble games being your fave! I wanted to play friday fave this week but haven’t felt good and was only coming up with like 4 things….I should have remembered scramble! Because I have LOVED it! No one else will really play with me and we’ve had some good games, thanks Annie!

    i’m so glad your computer saved all of your work, what a pain it would have been to lose it!

    I’m also really glad you can play Scramble with Gail and compete. She decimates me, it’s utterly humilitating. I know now not to play with you, if you’re in her league! I don’t mind losing, but losing by over 100 points is depressing :)
