1. Do you put the toilet paper on coming over the top or underneath, or does it matter? If someone puts it on wrong do you have to fix it?

I just put it on the roll. Apparently I’m the only one with this skill in my family of six! I don’t care if it’s over or under as long as it’s not sitting on the counter, or back of the toidy.

2. Do you wear shoes in the house?

NO! never. I really don’t like wearing shoes. I take them off while driving (if wearing sandals) and immediately upon entering the front door! This is where me and flylady part company…

3. If something falls out of the dryer when you’re folding clothes or putting it in the laundry basket, do you have to rewash it or do you just continue on like nothing happened?

No. The floor is very clean in the laundry area. I usually sit and fold clothes straight out of the dryer, but if something fell it would just be folded and put away…

4. Which side of the bed do you sleep on? What about in a hotel?

I sleep on the left side of the bed, but every once in a while Matt and I will switch and it’s no big deal. The last few times I’ve stayed in a hotel I’ve slept on the left side too.

5. Do you do everything in the shower in the same order every time?

Yep. I have a routine. I add baby bath wash stuff to my sponge thing and lather up… then wash my face… then wash my hair and add cond. to sit while I shave my legs (love the coconut smelling shaving cream)… then rinse my hair and rinse off again and out I go. I love those hair wrap towels.

6. How many times a day do you think you wash your hands?

Okay, you’ve got me on this one… this is the one that puts me more in the OCD category. I couldn’t count the number of times (well I guess I could) but I’m not sure. Many many times a day. Add to that an overuse of hand gel. If I get out of the car for any reason, or get anything through a drive through, or go to the motor bank, I always use hand gel after touching anything else. I have a bottle in my car door, one in the back for the kids (who use it everytime too), a huge bottle in the front room, one in the bathroom beside the soap, one in the kitchen, one by my bed, a few in my purse… etc.

7. What is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning? Does it ever vary?

I climb out of bed. Tinkle. wash my hands. walk through and check all the kids. Pour cereal for Matt. Fix his water bottle to take with frozen gatorade. Fix smaller water bottle. Put his coffee into thermos. Help Emelia get ready for the bus (we’re watching for the bus as I type!). Check email. Get a coke. With sonic ice from the freezer (I buy the bags). Get Izzy out of bed when she wakes up and feed her breakfast. Gather all the laundry and start making beds. Feed and water Pinky (the horse).

Breakfast
What is your first thought when you wake up?
I check the time, and if it’s too early to get up I just pray silently. If it’s time to be up I don’t think… I just start running.

Lunch
If you could go out to lunch with any three people (real of fictitious/ from any time period, dead or alive) , which three people would you choose and why?
My first choice would be Jesus Christ. I would love to ask some questions. Watching “The Stranger” in Wednesday night bible class has been enlightening and interesting to think about a modern day conversation with Christ.

Second would be a group of my bloggy friends, they are so spread out over the world it would be awesome to meet up with them and talk face to face.

Third would be one of the late greats like Kenneth Hagin or Smith Wigglesworth. They had powerful healing ministries and I would like to talk to them in person.

Dinner
What is your favorite restaurant and what do you like the most on the menu?
I think it’s a toss up between Old Germany which is here in Choctaw USA, and Macaroni Grill. My favorite dish at OG is chicken schnitzel, breaded and panfried, with mushroom sauce, german potato salad and red cabbage. At MG it is the chicken baja tacos with corn cakes and rice… guac on the side and a slice of brownie sundae cheesecake for dessert. Yum!

Midnight Snack
What do you usually think about right before you fall asleep?
We usually lay down to pray together and I fall asleep right after.

Look at this beautiful watch! I think it would look great on my wrist! I am in the market for a new watch. Mine dissapeared recently and I need to buy a new one! I like to have a watch with a black band for everyday too. I have a small black watch but being so tall I like to have a wider band and a bigger face. The watch I am wearing most days now is a bracelet style. It’s cute, but not as practical as I would like. I guess I should have asked for a watch for my birthday. What does your favorite watch look like? Do you shop online for watches or at a particular store. I have bought watches at a variety of places from Sam’s to online. The one I lost was given to Matt for his 10 year anniversary at AT&T. He chose a women’s watch for me.

Friday Fill-Ins #85

1. The last meal I had at a restaurant was broccoli bacon quiche, broccoli cheese soup, raspberry tea, and a lemon scone… It was at a local tea room.

2. Fruit is something I intensely dislike.

3. The full moon is round.

4. See ya tomorrow is one of my favorite local expressions.

5. Sometimes it’s best to move on.

6. Mama Mia is the best movie I’ve seen so far this year!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to grilling burgers and eating outside under my new umbrella!, tomorrow my plans include washing my car & maybe a date! and Sunday, I want to go to church, have a nap and then get everything ready for a new week !

What do you think about progesterone cream? I used some natural progesterone cream after the birth of one of the kids when my hair was falling out due to hormones. It did seem to work. It’s supposed to also help with pms and stress. Among other things. I am a little wary of using hormones, but I know that when I used it for a very brief time it did help my situation.  What do you think?

1. I just wrote about five of the 13 items and somehow it got erased. UGH.
2. Izzy started school yesterday! She went to kindergarten but only for about 45 minutes because the other Isabelle in her class was being busy and the teacher was loud on her headset. She spent the remainder of the day doing vision stuff with a lightboard. She did well I was told.
3. I got my closet clean. In one hour! I thought it would take all day.
4. Emelia’s room is still perfectly clean since her room redo. It’s amazing! I think the no food in your room policy has greatly helped.
5. Bailey’s room is not still clean. I may tackle that today.
6. Along with the freezer.
7. And the medicine cabinet.
8. I’m taking Amanda to get her books for college this afternoon while Izzy is in school.
9. Amanda is doing SAS (students assisting students) at Izzy’s school but in the mornings. She loves it and they love her!
10. Jen got her first award. And passed it on. And I was one of the ones she passed it to. Cool huh?
