1. My favorite bedtime attire is pretty pajamas that are soft and comfortable.

2. The perfect meal would include either fettucini alfredo with grilled chicken, or wiener schnitzel with a hearty side of either broccoli or potato salad and a big glass of coke with sonic ice.

3. The most memorable girl’s night out I’ve ever had was when I would ditch class (college) and go to see Mendy in Norman… we would go get carryout from victorias and then dessert from la baguette and go to her house and watch our favorite show… or the night me and Julie went to del ranch (enough said or any of several ladies retreats that were in hotels especially the one that I went to with melody and we snuck down and swam in the pool… yep we’re rebels. That was in 1996/1998/2006. I was 21/22/and 29 (I age way differently than most people)-years-old.

4. My earliest memory is tying my shoes for the first time and mom buying me a box of crayons.

5. The family is gone for the evening and I will spend my time catching up on tivo, or cleaning out my closet. I know. Pretty pitiful .

6. Right now I am debating with Matt about the interview with SCChapman on Larry King Live last night. It was disturbing, but at the same time could see their faith and it was a blessing. I had a hard time not sobbing during parts of the interview… but they trust God and above all else I do too.

7. When I am done blogging, I am going to put a load of clothes in the washer, fix izzy’s breakfast and feed her.

He is a friend’s baby and was taken to the ER a few weeks ago. They thought and maybe still do think that he had an infection in his heart. He was released from ICU and had to come back. Now they are saying he needs to be careflighted to St. Louis and needs a heart.

I just read an article about global theft, 11 were charged in the sale of 40 million credit card numbers. Can you imagine how devastating it would be to have your card number stolen and used? Federal prosecutors charged 11 people yesterday with the theft and sale of more than 40 million credit and debit card numbers from at least nine U.S. retailers in what they said was one of the largest and most complex hacking and identity theft cases ever brought. Officials with the Department of Justice said the people indicted were part of a criminal ring that stretched from the United States to Eastern Europe to East Asia, highlighting the global nature of computer crime. Charges of conspiracy, computer intrusion, fraud and identity theft have been brought against people from Estonia, Ukraine, China and Belarus, as well as the United States.

The founder of lifelock had this to say in response. “I applaud the efforts of the government in bringing to justice these 11 individuals who are damaging millions of American families. Unfortunately, this case, while representing the largest prosecution in American history, is only the tip of the iceberg in an ever-growing illegal enterprise that is staying one step ahead of the government and the banking and credit industries to steal consumers’ identities,” said Davis. “The time has come for those that profit in the credit industry - both the banks and the major credit bureaus - to begin working with consumer advocates to proactively protect American consumers from those who would prey on their identity and financial well-being.”

I guess in such technological times of putting our information out there to be seen, we have to become more proactive in protecting that information rather than reacting to being violated. My identity was stolen once and it was so hard to get it all recovered and get things back to normal.

(I’ll be back on the old diet Monday!!!)

 We’ve all seen them on the web, promo codes and coupons for online shopping.  I love finding online codes for things I am buying anyway.  It helps to find discounts off merchandise, or even a code for free shipping.  I find that with the high cost of gas now it is less expensive to purchase things online and have them shipped to my home.  A lot of my shopping is actually done online.  I think this will continue and probably even become a primary source of my shopping.  I’ve been fortunate that clothes ordered online have fit and haven’t been a problem.

Now is a perfect time to take advantage of coupons, discounts and promotional codes for purchasing items online. With gas prices so high, it couldn’t cost more to have it shipped to your front door! I know I love to shop online and always look for valid codes to get free shipping, or a discount on what I am buying. Savings.com does not decide which coupons are the best coupons – you do. The members and coupon hunters find the best coupons on the net and then the Savings.com community decides which coupons are the best coupons. We are loving our horse, Pinky. He is such a sweetie. I enjoy petting his soft nose in the mornings when I fill his water and feed him. He has gotten used to me lately and will come over to the fence to say hello. I have always liked horses. I had one years ago when I was younger. The horses at the hippotherapy center Izzy has gone to are so sweet and concerned about her. You can see it in their eyes. I may need to check into some equestrian clothing now. Maybe some socks like the ones in the picture!
