1. Which is worse: speaking to a large crowd or working under an impossible deadline?
The deadline one! For sure! I hate impossible deadlines, although I usually work better under pressure. I would much rather speak to a large crowd!
2. Could you work with your best friend?
Yes.
3. Do you eat seafood?
No. Well, not fish. I like shrimp sometimes. But almost anything else fishy is not my forte!
4. What is the worst thing you have ever eaten?
Well, I had lunch with Melody at Sante Fe yesterday. It was so delicious. I had grilled chicken that was really seasoned and spicy. I dipped it in heinz 57. Yum. I had a few fries with some cheese on them and ranch. Just a few. Chill out! It was all so good until I felt like I was strangling and pulled out a very long hair that went all the way down my throat. I felt like a sword swallower. I would like to think it was one of my hairs. And thats how I handled it in my mind. But in retrospect, my hair is not now and has never been dark brown. YUCK!
5. Which would make you feel more appreciated by your DH / SO: bringing home flowers, doing a chore without being asked, or asking you on a “date”?
I choose date! Date please? Flowers is just too easy. He could do that without much trouble.. although Lorenzo brings Amanda flowers all the time and it is very sweet. If you’re into that kind of thing. The chore thing would be nice too, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be done to my standards. He does take the trash out without being asked a lot of mornings while I’m in slumber paradise… but that doesn’t count because it’s his trash too. So, a date! That would make me feel the most appreciated! Especially if I got to choose what we did!
6. What is something fun you are going to do today?
I don’t know yet! I was going to lunch with my brother for my birthday but told him it’s a week early and I wanted to wait… I usually go get donuts on Friday morning, but not sure that qualifies as “fun.” I know there will be something, not sure what it is yet though!
7. What qualities you look for in a friend … in other words, what causes you to really “click” with someone?
A sense of humor, a person who is “real.” I like a friend who is thoughtful. I used to always be drawn to people who had a lot of issues or problems because I think I needed to be needed. These days I feel plenty needed, so I don’t think that applies. I have great friends though. They are all so different, but really special!

I’m gagging thinking about that hair–I think finding a hair in your food is almost worse than finding a bug.

I don’t like fish either much, except in my case I adore chilled kumamotot oysters with red wine vinegar mignonette (not any other kind of oysters though !)
