I’ve made it a goal today to weed the back flower bed and have decided to put on my suit and weed until I’m too hot and then swim a minute and weed some more… so I’ll ponder this question while I’m sweating glowing!

Oh btw… the interview was fine. I was pretty nervous, and even more nervous when it was time for the news to come on. They did a good job editing me and I overall liked the information given and although it sorta made me cringe to hear my own voice, it made me feel good to put the new out there. And… Matt didn’t make fun of me (he mentioned that I look pale, but then I think my lack of sun has kept me younger looking) and my daddy called and said, “I’m sure proud of you, I may not tell you that often, but I am.” Sweet huh?

Satuurday 9: Another High School Meme

1. Can you sing the fight song? no.  I can’t even remember the school song?

2. Who was your favorite teacher? Mrs. Weidenmeyer, English teacher.

3. What was your school mascot?  Yellowjacket

4. Did you go to the Prom? No.

5. If you could go back, would you? Probably.

6. What do you remember most about graduation? The aqua dress under my gown.

7. Where were you on Senior Skip Day? Working.

8. Did you have a job your senior year? Yes.  I was an administrative assistant at the Oklahoma Historical Society.  I got the job as a fill in for a woman out having twins, and then went on to work in another area for the rest of the year.  I wasn’t hired permanently because a historian who had his doctorate in history took a special interest in me and the director thought it wasn’t a good environment for a young girl to be in. 

9. Where did you go most often for lunch? Sonic usually, sometimes Braum’s for just a single dip hot fudge sundae… not nuts and no cherry!
