Annie, I don’t know whether I told you, but I KNOW Bart Millard and family – Bart wrote “I Can Only Imagine” after his Dad died. Bart is lead singer with MercyMe. I lived in Greenville, TX, when Bart was a toddler and knew him, his brother, Steven, his Mom and Dad, plus Grandma Lindsey, and his aunts and uncles. We were invited to be the Guest of Bart’s Mom at his Annual Charity Concert in Greenville, TX, to benefit Juvenile Diabetes, which his son, Sam (5), has.
Breaking News: Bart and wife, Shannon, just announced to family that they are expecting their 4th baby. Besides Sam, they have Gracie (3) and Charlie (2). So this will become an even busier household soon. (Charlie is the IMAGE of Bart as a 2-yr-old) IF you are interested, I’ll share some of their family pictures and concert pictures that I took in Dec. 2007. Just let me know!

I LOVE the song “I Can Only Imagine.” It will be the theme of summer camp for our 12-18 year old girls this year, and I think I’ll be teaching that song to everyone…I hope the sheet music has been published!
