tonight…

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

Amanda and I went to the ladies banquet/dinner tonight at Sante Fe Restaurant.  It was pretty good! and the speaker was interesting too.  She operates a home for women who are coming out of prison, mostly people who have drug issues.  She is a recovering addict and found God.  Amanda and I sat across from Miki and her daughter Madison.  It was fun!  I enjoyed having dinner with Amanda too, even cutting her steak.  Here we are on our way out…

wordy wednesday

I waited ALL day for the SPCC plan guy to bring by CADS he wants done by Friday. 25 of them! He called after 8 p.m. to say he was going to wait until tomorrow morning. I hate waiting.

Izzy was able to go to school today. She woke up feeling much better and smiling. She tried really hard to make the “x” sound in speech therapy.

It rained all day today. There were tornado warnings tonight. Gotta love Oklahoma weather! Matt was called out to work this evening. I am guessing it is weather related.

Tomorrow night is the Ladies dinner at Sante Fe Steakhouse. I think Amanda is going with me. Should be fun… I need to remember to take my camera. Since I’ve had it I have been even more forgetful about taking pictures.

Only a little more than two weeks of school left for the kids. It’s pretty exciting.

Mother’s Day is this weekend… what do you have planned?

Happy Wednesday…

renuzit ~ transform your home!

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

I was visiting the Renuzit Tri Scents Transform your home webpage a bit ago, there is a coupon link on the home page to try out the Tri Scents! Renuzit® TriScents™ fresheners, the newest line of electric scented oil air fresheners, gently renew your home with 3 harmonious scents in one convenient product. Available in two distinct fragrances, Seaside Breezes™ and Morning Meadow, each contains three scented oils that continuously transition throughout the day to create a longer-lasting, always enjoyable renewed scent. I then headed over to the semi-finalist gallery where you can vote for a video submission for a $20,000 home makeover! How cool would that be to have $20,000 to renovate your home? I think it would be awesome. I voted for this one shown above, although it was hard to choose one. I don’t know any of the people who entered the contest. There were clever songs and definite need shown for the makeover, but this one looked like it was the most needy of all. You should visit http://www.triscents.com/gallery.asp and vote for your favorite one. You can vote one time a day through June 7th. The best part is that the winner with the most votes will receive a $20,000 home makeover with Tayna Memme!
