it’s raining buckets!
I took Izzy to school today… in the rain.
Stopped off at Emelia’s school … in the rain.
Visited the library… in the rain!
I squeaked all the way through the library.
When I came out of the library the sky opened up and it poured on my head. I was wearing flip-flops, because the top of my foot is still injured and hurts when I put real shoes on. So, I was running through ankle high water in flip flops. My jeans were soaked to my knees.
I went back to get Izzy… in the rain.
We came out of school and the sky opened again and poured on us as I tried to get her and the stroller in the car. I am now looking like the equivalent of a wet rat. Very wet! Dry clothes, warm socks and a blanket are in our near future.
I sang this song to Izzy while we were driving home from school.
“Rain rain go away, come again some other day. Rain rain go away, me and Izzy want to play!“
so rain or snow – which is worse do you think? April showers bring May flowers!

We had rain all last week, then the last 4 days here have been really nice high 50′s low 60′s and sunny.. tomorrow is to be Mr Man’s 1st baseball practices of the year and they are calling for 40′s and rain then cold and raining with mix of snow all weekend and into monday..
I’m not a big fan of rain.
The rain rain go away song.. There is a story my grandma likes to repete every time I’m at her house or my kids are there and it is raining out..
I guess when I was 2 or 3 years old it was raining and I wanted to go outside to play.. Grandma gave me my little toy piano and I started playing it and she started to sing rain rain go away come again another day and I got really upset and about bit her head off and Yelled “BUT I DON’T WANT IT TO COME AGAIN ANOTHER DAY” LOL.. guess I didn’t like rain back then either

We get very little rain here in Arizona, so I LOVE it when we get a beautiful downpour…IF I’m at home wearing nice dry clothes…NOT driving all around town running errands…NOT being turned into a wet rat!

Those are the days that I’m so glad we homeschool…..those are also the days that drive me to call in or cancel any plans we may have that day…I love the warm summer rain but I do not enjoy going out in, driving in or going into any place in the rain. Umm, yeah….I don’t like rain much and especially not to have to slosh around in!
I think we’re supposed to get it starting this afternoon but they’ve been saying that for a day or so and it keeps going north of us so I’m hoping for the same thing today.
I love that moving rain picture, but yuck I should imagine by the end of the day you were totally over all that rain!
