Ed and I have one we use for traveling. Most of Arkansas does not have any radio reception. We made the decision to get the XM and it works great. Lots of channels on there on any given subject matter, plus music from every era - up to current times.

There is a monthly subscription fee to pay (after free trial) but it is about $7 - $8 per month.

Everything we needed for use in the SUV (car/truck) was included in the package that we bought from WalMart. No additional items required.

No, but I'm interested in it. Would someone in love with an IPOD get their money's worth out of it?

oh amanda's last blog post..Hanging Your Wordless Wednesday Out To Dry

Don and I both have xm radio in our vehicles, 3 months free then it expires or you get a subscription. He travels all the time so renewed his, mine is still free but will probably get the subscription too. But he wanted a portable one for Christmas, which I didn't get....and I wondered how it would work. I didn't know if we'd have to get another subscription or if we'd need anything else. When we pull into the carport the radio doesn't work anymore so he wanted one he could listen to inside after vehicle is off. What kinds of things are you finding that has to go with it? I'm needing to check into it myself.
