another christmas over…

Wednesday, December 26th, 2007

Is it just me, or is it kinda sad for Christmas to be over (again)? I mean I do feel the initial relief knowing all gifts have been bought and opened for the most part… that the food has been made and eaten, that all is finished. But, it just seems like it’s this huge build up and then bam it’s over! I’m so tired! This weekend was a crazy run and although I told the kids we might go to the mall (I need to shop for a new calendar)… I am thinking home sounds better today.

Matt couldn’t find his work vehicle keys this morning. He’s been home since last Thursday. I was a little concerned they were thrown out with all the wrapping. He has a specific basket he puts all his stuff in each day after work. They keys were not there. We proceeded to tear things apart to find them. It’s so frustrating to lose something. I had cleaned pretty well Friday and Saturday, including under the sofas and under the cushions were vacuumed so I felt pretty sure they were not there. I looked under a cushion in a side chair and didn’t see them but after an hour of looking matt pulled the cushion up and saw the edge of them down in the crevice. Can you say relief???? Too much drama for the day after Christmas.

Amanda has the car, although we are getting details wrapped up today like insurance. She hasn’t been able to drive it. The insurance place has been called but their computers were down so we’re waiting still.

I’m hoping that over this break I get to see Mendy because I haven’t seen her for so long. Last Spring she finished her masters right after having baby #4 and took a job that has tied her up (too much!) and I plan to see Julie when she comes into town! I’m holding her birthday and christmas gift captive until I see her… we usually do german food or victorias (my favorite, but all the way in norman!)…

Happy day after Christmas! I’m off to look for my old blog template. Hopefully it is backed up… Did I mention I got a new laptop for christmas?

I love seeing all the believe signs during the holidays… Amanda (oh amanda) sent me a couple and Irene sent a believe flag. Amanda mentioned they probably mean believe in santa or christmas magic… but I love the word believe because I do believe and it’s a constant reminder of that!

A New Date For The New Year

Wednesday, December 26th, 2007

Is your new year’s resolution to meet a new person to spend time with or even spend the rest of your life with? You may laugh, but I happen to personally know many people who have met using internet matchmaking services. Matt’s sister met her friend Clay online and he is a very nice guy!

Read our introduction to learn more about online dating services and a few of their unique benefits compared to more traditional old-fashioned methods to meeting singles. Browse the suitable category to find ideal online dating sites that match your unique needs such as Christian dating.

Faith is an important part of a relationship for many Christian singles and finding someone through Christian personals based on the premise of staying within a certain faith can certainly cut down on the work involved in finding someone special. Christian dating services have specialized in just such matches, bringing singles together from the United States and elsewhere in order to get one of the most important aspects of a relationship, and a potential barrier, out of the way early in the matchmaking process.

Online personals run through a full range of shapes and sizes, each service with its own specific tools and traits to help bring people together. Not all services are the same and each has unique characteristics that resonate particularly with different types of singles. Though all on this page focus on meeting single Christian men and women, they are not all the same and the differences are explored here in these descriptions in order to promote better choices for those hoping to meet someone special.

It makes sense to find someone online that meet the criteria you are looking for and to find a perfect match for you!
