promised pictures …

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

I found the camera cord last night and got my camera back from Amanda’s room so I am posting the picture of robot baby I promised… and I remembered the other one I told you I would post… the toothpick church. I had also taken some Christmas decoration pictures but I’ll save them for later.

furniture from home

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Wouldn’t a leather bed be a great Christmas gift? I have a relatively new bed, but this one looks awesome! A new bed is just a nice thing to get… or purchase.

New furniture is a great way to make your home look new. My friend Melody and I were discussing our chairs just this morning. We both got rid of our burgandy recliners and subbed new leather chairs… much to our husbands chagrin.

I would honestly love love love if Santa slipped a leather sofa under my tree, or by my tree… or anywhere in the vicinity of my tree for that matter. I really like the looks of leather sectionals. Currently we have a large sofa and then a few chairs in our den. I think sectionals look so cozy and inviting. Also having a family of six, it takes plenty of seats when we are having family time in the den. I realize as the kids get older they are hanging out with us less and less though.

I found the camera cord last night! So today I will be posting the robot baby picture. I can’t remember what other picture I said I would post…

Things are gonna change here today! Just wait!

I’ll be back later with pics and stuff.

Happy Wednesday!

(p.s. I redid Izzy’s blog template last night for Christmas… check it out!)

photo cards

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

It is time for Christmas Cards again! I am planning to take a picture of the kids one night this week for our annual photo card. I usually order them from CVS or somewhere online. I found a really neat website with lots of fun designs! I usually just try to get a good shot of the kids faces, usually the first picture I take ends up being the best.

It also helps to take the picture without giving them too much notice, it’s more natural :). They do 20 photo cards for $6.99 which is pretty reasonable! I think it is a great resource for holiday photo cards. They also have photo cards and collage cards… I’m off to design a card!
