I found a coupon for $5 off $50 purchase at Target. I will be using that when ordering Bailey’s game he requested for Christmas. He told me he wanted guitar hero for his WII. I also found out one of his best friend’s mom’s has already purchased it for him, so I’ll have to get it quickly. I have learned especially with video games that if you don’t buy them early you have a lot of trouble finding that special item the closer you get to Christmas.

I also found a coupon for 20% off a single item at Linen’s-n-Things! I love Linen’s-n-Things. I need a new shower curtain, so that coupon will come in handy too!

God is good and I am so thankful to Him for everything that is good in my life.  I’m thankful for friends (like you).  I’m thankful for my family too!  I’m thankful for all the wonderful blessings bestowed upon me!

I have not bought one Christmas present. Not one. I’m not really concerned, I usually get really intent on Christmas shopping right after Thanksgiving and then finish up well before Christmas. I liked Elizabeth’s idea about giving each child three gifts representative of the gifts given at Christ’s birth. I am hoping to implement that idea into my gift giving this year.

Emelia wants a new ipod to replace the one that was left in the stands of the last football game she went to with a friend she spent the night with. We drove back to the field and she looked and looked, but someone must have found it before her. I think Amanda would like perfume to be one of her gifts. Bailey has already put his request in for guitar hero for his wii. I need to look into that!

I’ve been writing little ads for different paid posting sites the last few days. It’s really fun and not hard at all. Figuring out all the little rules has been the biggest obstacle. Fortunately I have friends like Tori to help me out. I signed up for bloggerwave recently. I think it is a little exciting to think about generating funds doing the thing I enjoy most - blogging!

I mentioned that I am trying out the paid posting with several different sites. One of which is Smorty. Smorty is a service that connects advertisers with bloggers. You are able to pick from a list of advertisers and post about that particular website or product. The amount per post varies depending on the advertiser. It is a fun way to blog for money.

I hope that blogging for money doesn’t deter my bloggy friends. I am simply trying to make the most of my time and because my options are limited this is one way I can contribute to our monthly income. I am hoping that I get the hang of this quickly. I’ve been fortunate to have some bloggy friends who are also blogging for money and have been able to give me some tips. I’m really thankful for Tori, who has helped so much and directed me to other sites to check out like Smorty.

Don’t you just love a good hug from a good friend? It can make your day better in an instant.  I hope you have lots of hugs today!

Would you put metal cabinets in your garage? I don’t think I would. My dream kitchen is very Tuscan and warm and metal cabinets are cold and modern in my opinion. Although if I lived in a loft in the city I might consider it. I do think this garage shelving would be cute in Bailey’s room, he could put his things on the shelf and hang his jacket on the rack. It’s pretty cute.

This verse has been especially inspiring to me since Izzy’s accident.  Reading verse 24 is a definite faith builder.  If I believe it in my heart when I pray, I will have it.  Sounds so simple doesn’t it.  Sometimes believing something you can’t see with your physical eyes is harder than it sounds, but my faith has increased and I do believe in what my physical eyes cannot see.  I believe in the manifestation of Izzy’s healing and now I just thank God for that everyday.
